Weekend Swift Rides ?

Well the weather doesn't look to promising for riding this weekend.  A maybe for the Koppenburg race on Sunday...
I'll probably be hitting the track from 9 to10 on Saturday to spin out the legs in case the race runs Sunday.

Next Weekend - Big Ride Time.  Try to do to a almost-century if the weather is good.  More next week when forecast is set.  Time to get some mileage in for the Summer Big Ride Season!
Looks like the other day I might have to go out to Hugo to meet with State Patrol. (ughhhh)

Happy Trails,
Stephen

Wednesday Lunch Ride

Wednesday - Noon at Vics.
Looking to do some hills that are similar to the intensity of the Koppenburg Berg.  Anybody how long and steep the climb is and how long it takes to ride it at race speed?  Trying to avoid the actual race hill until it drys up.

Also, doing Track from 8-9 AM Tuesday.  If legs are recovered, I'll hope to do some short hard intervals...

Ciao,
Stefano

ACA Reg Database Throwing Errors

Tonight, I'll try to update the CyclingEvents.com DB with the latest ACA Membership as the ACA Webservice is acting flaky.  Probably has to do with people checking Roubaix results and they are running out of connection to their MySQL DB.

Fwd: Saturday ride - April 9

I'll be out at 10:00 vics for a Not So Swift ride.  Sunday is the Mead Roubaix, so I might throw in some dirty roads on the way back.

Sunday tentative ride...

IF the weather cooperates, I'd like to do a ride at 10:30 on Sunday for a few hours. I figure the later time might let it warm up a bit. Look for a confirmation email Sunday morning.

Fwd: Saturday ride...

How about 10:00 at Vic's for 3-ish hours. Sunday is supposed to be colder and, potentially, wetter.

Sunday Ride - 1/30/2011

I'll lead the Sunday Ride as the weather forecast has changed for the better.
Since y'all will be hammering Saturday, Sunday will be a longer steady ride with some dirt roads sections.  Roubaix Prep...
10:00 AM at Vics - Half hour earlier, so we can do a half hour more of riding before afternoon nap time :-)

Ciao, Stefano

Saturday Ride... 1/29/2011

OK, Swifties...

How about Saturday, 10:30 at Vic's...weather cooperating. From what I've heard, Sunday looks to be worse. I'm looking for a 2-3 hour, get warmed up, do some rotating pace lines sorta stuff. With Stephen not there, it will be a chance for others to step up and coach the group. Remember, peel off into the wind!!

Assume it is on unless something happens with the weather.

John

Sunday Morning Ride!

Hoping for a Sunday morning ride...10:30 at Vic's. Will confirm Sunday morning when weather is more better understood!!

Weekend Swift Rides - Iffy...

Weather is looking IFFY for riding outside this weekend.  Will update with forecast on Friday.
I'll probably heading to the Track for an hour Saturday morning if it is cold and windy.  9:00 AM?

If you are planning on heading out, send out an email.
