I'll be leading a Not So Swift Ride. Work on Paceline/Echelons at a medium pace. Maybe head up to Rabbit Mtn

Sunday - Do a preview of the Haystack Mtn TTT, http://gsboulder.com/info-haystack.php, and then a Climb to Jamestown.

Weekend Rides - March 17 & 18

Saturday


  • Vics at 10:00 - Al will lead ride to Lyons and around Fruit Loops. Around 2.5 Hours, with some hard sections and regroups - Optional - Come back over Old Stage or Lee Hill.

  • Deer Trail Recon Ride - Stephen is heading out to checkout the Deer Trail Road Race course. Leaving Boulder at 9:00 - either 38 or 50 mile ride - should be back in Boulder around 3:00. Email Stephen@Haydel.com if you want to go out...

Sunday



  • Vics at 10:00 - Jamestown + SuperJames option(3 steep miles) - A few re-groups. We will split up into different groups climbing. I'll be in the middle group. Stephen
  • I will be there, Sunday, hopefully making all the way up to Super J.
    So, women come out and ride, don't worry too much. We always have regroup points and then, on a climb everyone can go to his/her own pace...Weather is supposed to be beautiful....

Tuesday Hill Climb Rides; Thursday Meeting

We will start with a short climb to kick off the "Tuesday Hill Climb Rides" (Thanks to congress for giving us 3 extra weeks of riding.)

Meet at 5:30 at Table Mesa and Broadway on the West side of Broadway. Note: The sun should set around 6:30 and it will get dark at 7:00ish. For the non-Southenders, bring a blinky light(s).

Thursday - Training in Meeting - 7:30 Boulder Library in the Creek Room, back of first floor.
I am getting our very own Luisa Sulivan to give a training presentation on Base/Build Training in Italian :-) This will be good for both races and recreation riders. If interested in pre-meeting beers, send me an email.

Great 5 hour ride today. Spring is here, at least until the next snow storm.

Ride out to the course. Either do TT or ride around. Regroup afterwards. Maybe ride over Old Stage or Lee Hill back in.

Sunday - 10:00 at Vics -- Don't forget Daylights Savings!!!
Long Ride out East. Note because of construction there will be 2 miles of dirt roads.
Steady Pace - 76 Miles - 4+ hour ride for full distance. Shorter cutoffs available. Water/Food Break at Mile 50

Swift Cycling is recruiting new members for 2007! We are a local cycling club, based in Boulder, with a great mix of cyclocross and road racers, mountain bikers and recreational riders.
