Sunday - MTB Ride - Carpool from Vics at 8:30 or meet up in Lyons at 9:00 at Visitors Center
Do new Picture Rock Trail!!! Burger and Beer afterwords. Looks like 16 miles out and back with Wild Turkey/Ponderosa Loop. 1500 ft of climbing.
- Women are doing a Flagstaff Climb and Social Hour. :-)

Moab Camping Trip - Oct. 10-12 weekend. Jenny is leaving me to visit kids, so good time to go to Moab! If interested let me know. Camping & Mountain Biking. Good road riding, hiking and site seeing out there also...

Sunday MTB - 8am Bus up...

Let's just meet at the Boulder Bus station for the 8:10 bus up. Mellow ride with lots of regroups. Either ride down or take bus bake down after snack/lunch in Nederland.

Swift Copper Triangle Ride

We had a gorgeous day and ride Saturday. The trees have just started to turn yellow, the panorama was beautiful and the company was fun and supportive. The Guinness records of the Swift Copper Triangle ride:
1. Will: the fastest downhill
2. David: the most sandwiches ever eaten during a ride
3 George: the most dangerous pictures taken on edge of cliffs

Hello All,

This Saturday September 13 - The Copper Triangle Ride is ON!

I have 6 sure YES. Stephen & Jenny will meet us in Vail and ride with us at least the first part. I hope More will decide to come!

Weather is supposed to be Mostly Sunny and 67 as highest.

Details:

Meet: 7:15 at Amante North Boulder to pick-up good "latte" for the drive. We leave at 7:30 a.m. Car Pool. Some of us may be stay up for Saturday night.
Vail meeting point: Exit 176 (2nd exit of the 3 exits in Vail) - Vail Village Parking - South Frontrage Road.
Start riding arond 10:00 a.m.
Route: Vail Pass - Copper - Freemont Pass - Leadville - Tennessee Pass - Vail
Support: Swag support offered by the Sullivans' to put your warm clothes before descending We will also carry water.
Clothings: bring arm and leg warmer, vest and/or jacket and long fingers gloves (may be) to descend. You can always leave the warm clothes in the car before climbing agin. Bring your own power bars. Also bring non-cycling clothes to change after the ride.
Social ending: Pizza & birra after the ride in Vail Village.
Pace: Moderate - We are at the end of the season and we mainly want to enjoy riding in beautiful surroundings with wonderful cycling companions. No one will be left behind alone.
Regroup Points: Top of Vail Pass - Copper (at the end of the bike path coming down from Vail pass) - Top of Freemont Pass - Leadville (gas station at the turn for Tennessee Pass) - Top Tennessee Pass - Minturn -
