Matt tele crosstraining up above Caribou this weekend. Death sastrugi as far as the eye could see but no brown cloud. Anyone interested in some backcountry excursions over the next few months (excellent exercise!) should drop me or Steve Gabbard a line. Heading up at least once a weekend...

Announcement Womens' ride December 10th

I'm delighted that a number of women have responded with interest in riding if the pace and route are more geared to their current ability and interest. Looks like I'll have some company! Yay!

We'll depart from our usual meeting spot at Vic's on Iris and 30th at 10 a.m. The tentative route is Diagonal to 75th to Hygiene, then loop back to Niwot for coffee and treats at The Eye Opener, a cute little coffee shop in downtown Niwot. Then a leisurely pace back into Boulder. Let me know if that seems too far. Alternatively, we could take the Diagonal to 63rd to Nelson Rd, then loop back on 75th to Niwot, making the ride significantly shorter. We don't have to prove anything to anyone, so please let me know what you're up for.

If it snows, there will be no ride.

Men are cordially invited, but they will not set the pace. ; )
